Steering Committee Members

Commit to Change WA is a coalition of public health experts, treatment professionals, legal and law enforcement experts, elected officials, leaders of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color communities, and formerly incarcerated and directly impacted community members. We are working together to replace failed laws that criminalize drug possession with an approach that focuses on the social determinants of health and responds to substance use disorders with services tailored to individuals’ needs.
